Feb 8, 2020 · I bought an Xbox Elite controller series 1 instead of a series 2, and the main reason was because I did NOT want the internal battery on the series 2. Rechargeable AA eneloops are the way to go. 40 hours of battery life, can be swapped out in 10 seconds and never have to deal with shit battery life after a few years, just replace the batteries, not the whole controller.

Jan 5, 2015 · My controller is already on latest firmware. So it sucks that it cannot show correct % for rechargeable batteries. Either I have to get Play and Charge kit or a really long USB cable. Man this is BS. For my PS4 I just hook any mobile charger and it charges while playing (charging point is right next to where I sit while gaming), no such hassles.

Jan 29, 2014 · The Xbox controller is really good about managing its battery life. Since I got it on launch day I've had to recharge the eneloop's I have in it only 3 or 4 times.

Sep 4, 2024 · Every press has a nice click to it, including the d-pad. Probably the biggest selling point for this controller is that the wireless dongle works with both my PC and Xbox Series X. With my USB switch, I can use one controller for them both. Battery life is supposed to be around 20 hours which is pretty damn good. The Razer software works fine.
