The MIC VTB was assigned to the Vermont Tubbs Inc formerly of Wallingford, VT, which has been out of business since March 1979 (and that is all I know about Vermont Tubbs). Otter is 1.5" wider than Malecite, so it'll haul a little more; be a little more stable. And, check another NE craft builder, Vermont Canoe.
