Jan 2, 2012 · I'm not going to link to the site concerned (if you want just do a google search for GT40 plans and its a tripod site) but I found a site that has the same pictures used in the ebay ad, going by the example of the GT40 plans they are the 'free' ones. I'd surmise you could probably find the Lambo plans if you looked as well.

Apr 15, 2011 · You are correct, they are "Continuations" as only 1960s biult cars are FORD GT40s. And the Gulf point is correct, even Ford could not use the "Gulf" moniker on the 2006 Ford GTs, the had to be sold as "Heritage" livery! The Gulf colors are a matter of question as the colors used were existing BL colors and not original to JW or Gulf.

The car was designed by GT40 designer, Len Bailey and built by Alan Mann Racing In West Byfleet in Surrey, with support from Ford in Detroit. It was a radical departure from the GT40 and was powered by a Ford DFV F1 engine.

May 15, 2019 · I did a search for SPF paint. I tried using the 2006 Ford GT Heritage codes. The GL code for the blue was a good one but in BASF paint. The orange, we could not get. Then I called Eddie who has contacts with Ford. He gave me a formula for the orange which is a fleet color. But it's a BASF code that would not convert at the PPG store.
