Oct 13, 2014 · I show just one line coming off of the SWM 16 to 6 receivers. I do use both lines. Each "drop" to a receiver is a SWM splitter so there are 5 splits in the system. The problem: 80% of the time, this setup works great. However, sometimes the TVs on the end will get temperamental. They will show lost signal for a few seconds and come back.

Sep 16, 2009 · When I hooked it up, it had a guided setup and I set my dish to 5LNB SWM setup. I bought it to my cabin where I have a 3LNB standard dish. The problem is when I hook it up it won't get past the white screen with the DirecTV logo which says 'Searching for signal'. I assume it's because it thinks that it should be using a SWM setup and isn't.

Mar 21, 2012 · With the SWM LNB you need to either use the meter in your receiver or an external one. The cheap meters won't do. I use an Accutrac Pro 22 with an ASL-1 unit, which is about the least expensive alternative for meters. I bought this one because I saw it in one of the DirecTV installation videos. It is fine for occasional use.
