May 25, 2015 · I had a cucumber (not a cucamelon, but in the family) get severed once and tried to put the plant in water to save it....it stayed alive for a few days, looked great....then crashed and made the worst smell I've ever come across in the water. That being said, I found something about starting a cucumber from a cutting. Could work for you perhaps?

Dec 14, 2023 · Threw some cucamelon seeds in a hanging basket and they have all come up. I’m going to plant most out and leave a couple in the basket. They seem so delicate is it a plant 1 and I’ll be sorted or do i need a few plants to have a decent amount of fruit? I’ve never grown them before so any advice on position, spacing, trellis is appreciated.

Jul 19, 2021 · I have something growing which looks a bit strange. In a bucket I have growing a jungle of cucamelon which are fun to grow if you haven’t tried before. They’re grape sized, watermelon looking, cucumber tasting snacks. In this same pot somehow I noticed I also have (accidentally) growing a vine of the sugar cube hybrid cantaloupe.
