He is a little stinker about eating veggies and will only eat them if we are eating them, but won't touch them if I put them in his cage. I tried Harrison's and none of mine would eat the fine, but Peanut and Sassy will eat the course.

Aug 13, 2015 · My peachfront conure went from seed to Roudybush pellets in one meal, preferring the pellets over seed left in another bowl for the transition. Actually, she never touched the seeds again unless it was a special flavored treat. What was amazing to me, though, was the complete change in her temperament.

Apr 2, 2012 · my greenie eats Zupreem natural, conure size pellets.But he is a dipper and has to soak each piece in his water bowl as he eats them.Dont know if a smaller size would stop this or not.I know there are better brands out there and if your going to start him off you might as well go with the organic brands like Harrisons..

I'm feeding him the high potency fine (cause they recommend 6 months of that before converting to lifetime I think) but the breeder I got him from was already feeding him Roudybush so it was simply the matter of mixing the pellets for me and surprisingly he appreciated the Harrisons more (maybe he just wanted a change of flavor).

I give a blend of a few different blends ( fruit blend, natural blend,& veggie blend) and I have read the ingredients for the different size birds and ive noticed that they aren't exactly the same .. but there's not much different from the different sizes of pellets... honesty my green cheek conures …

Apr 11, 2010 · Luckily my Meyer's parrot was on pellets when I bought him and the lovebird I used to have made the switch easily. However, others have suggested starting with a mix of 25% pellets to 75% seed. Staying that way for a few weeks, then switching to 50/50. And of course continuing to 75% pellets, and then eventually 100%.

Apr 14, 2014 · Erik my two year old Sun Conure will eat the pellets when I hand feed him out of his bowl. When I leave the pellets in his cage he won't eat them. I feed him pellets first thing in the morning, I feed him seed later in the afternoon and fruit and veg all day. I feed him the pellets in the same bowl as the seed.
