Cristata Mix Celosia is commonly known as Cockscomb because the flowers resemble a rooster's comb. Tall, sturdy plants grow up to 40 inches tall. Thick stalks produce unique blooms in shades of red, yellow, orange, and pink. Heads may reach 7 inches across.

Cockscomb doesn’t produce many seeds, so it’s a plant you can put where you don’t want self-seeding to occur. The leaves and flowers are edible. People in Africa and South America have been growing cockscomb as a vegetable for centuries.
