Oct 26, 2023 · The warranty on all camera systems is one year. That is the industry standard. Your system is more than two years old. That’s more than twice the warranty period. We are unable to cover this under warranty. So I would need to purchase a new camera unit replacement and are not giving me any discounts or leeway.

Feb 23, 2011 · I’ve got an Aqua-Vu smart-vu camera with multi-colored lights, 60 ft. cable, temperature, and direction. The picture fails as you move the cable where it enters the camera. Does anybody work on these? I contacted Aqua-Vu and they say I have to buy another camera/cable for about $250.00 – 275.00.

Sep 26, 2006 · Anyone have any ideas on an inexpensive contraption for dropping and retrieving the camera on an AquaView? I bought one for use on the ice and in the boat but don’t use it much because I hate manually unwinding the cable from the base it came on (bought the ‘base’ model).

Unfortunately, I haven’t found a comparison review online, showing both cameras side-by-side, to see which one has a clearer picture in various lighting conditions and water clarity.
