There is no magic formula- I’m selling in a fairly saturated market, using knowledge and strategies that are readily available for free online and in the Etsy Handbook. I do have 130+ listings (handmade), strong SEO, consistent and professional looking listing photos, great customer service/reviews, fast turnaround time, strong branding.

Oct 14, 2022 · Etsy doesn’t do anything for customer search features or visibility. The marketplace feature just doesn’t apply. They also love sharing weirdly false statistics on how big of a percentage of people they brought to your page. Not accurate. “78% of your views and visitors were brought to you from Etsy, only 22% from you.” Ok.

You need to STAND OUT from the competition if you’re selling on Etsy. And as the OP mentioned you need to also learn about selling on Etsy and how that works. Studio lawyers just search for the trademarks they are defending and the top results get the infringement notice. It's the one time you don't want to be at the top of page 1 results.

Aug 5, 2023 · Etsy didn't break any laws, this is a case of an independent seller violating an Etsy policy by using Temu as their direct supplier of the merchandise you purchased on Etsy's platform. There isn't really a way for Etsy to effectively screen a shop before hand without purchasing all of a seller's products for inspection and review.

Oct 24, 2021 · If you already have a shop it’s probably not worth it. I sell digital items on Etsy but I started from scratch, and without Etsy I would have no sales. If you really wanted to I would consider raising your Etsy prices vs your other store to cover the fees and such. I think about 30% of my sales go to fees.

I make more money than I ever did as an office executive, brokerage assistant, bartender, etc. I bought a house and I just paid it off in full. So etsy = the best choice I ever made.
