Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has set its release date just days after the franchise's third instalment broke a new record. Deadline reports that the fourth film will land in cinemas on March 19, 2027, a week before the Easter holiday weekend.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is set to hit theaters on March 2027. According to Variety, Paramount has scheduled the next Sonic movie to hit the big screen on March 19, 2027 give us two years until we see the blue blur back in action.

Unsurprisingly, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is not yet available to watch on any streaming platform, and Paramount has yet to confirm a streaming release date. We do know though that Sonic 3 will be available to watch on the studio's own streaming service Paramount+ in the UK and the US after its digital release.

A release date has been set for the fourth Sonic the Hedgehog film which will introduce some more iconic characters from the video game franchise.
