Boardwalk Real Estate expects full-year funds from operations to be $3.10 to $3.32 per share. The company's shares have risen slightly since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $44.71, a decline of 18% in the last 12 months.

The results matched Wall Street expectations. The real estate investment trust, based in Las Vegas, said it had funds from operations of $191.7 million, or 45 cents per share, in the period. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for funds from operations of 45 cents per share.

The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 35 cents per share.
