Three people were injured in an overnight shooting near Howard University Saturday night. Officers were called to the scene in the 2200 block of 8 Street, Northwest, around 1:50 a.m. after shots were fired.

WASHINGTON (7News) — A man is dead after a shooting in a Southeast, D.C. neighborhood Sunday morning, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. The shooting was reported on the 1400 block of 18th Street, police said. When officers responded to the scene, they located a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating three separate shootings in D.C. that left three men injured.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said one person died and another person was injured in two separate overnight stabbings in D.C. Police said that at about 11:15 p.m., they were dispatched to the 400 block of H Street in Northwest for the report of a stabbing.

D.C. police are searching for a person allegedly connected to a shooting that left a man injured in Northeast, D.C. Friday evening.
