The King County Regional Homelessness Authority (KCRHA) told KOMO News that dozens of people were living there. They and their outreach teams, directed by the county, started connecting people with services in July and ended up making contact with 55 people.

BURIEN, Wash. — King County workers began their efforts to clear a Burien encampment located across from the King County District Courthouse. The encampment, which is now surrounded by metal fencing, took over parts of the courthouse’s parking lot, located on 149th Street.
