March is a 2-year-old Plott hound mix who came to the Humane Society of Missouri’s Macklind Avenue headquarters in October from an overwhelmed shelter in North Carolina after Hurricane Helene.

Though a storm brought frigid temperatures and blankets of snow to the South in a rare event, it also brought joy to the dogs of the region who have never played in the white stuff.
