Anything that carries the Thunderbolt logo has been rigorously tested. However, as the old saying goes -- trust, but verify.
There are now some cables that meet the current USB4 Version 2.0 standard, as well as the related Thunderbolt 5 ... as an extension of the logo series up to 40 Gbps introduced a year earlier.
