The Packers said Tuesday a data breach affected a limited number of people who made credit card transactions during the period.

The Green Bay Packers Pro Shop’s online store suffered a data breach between September and October 2024. Cybercriminals stole the credit card information of over 8,500 customers by injecting malicious code into the store’s checkout page.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Packers Pro Shop, the official gift shop of the Green Bay Packers that also has a store at Lambeau Field, suffered a brief data breach recently, according to a statement from Packers officials.

The Green Bay Packers Pro Shop website was hit by hackers recently, the team confirmed in a statement sent to NBC 26 on Tuesday.

Some customers who used a debit or credit card on the pro shop website from late September through most of October could be impacted. The Packers say they've sent a notification letter to everyone who may have been affected and those customers have been given the option of three years of complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection.
