A bus and a tram have collided head-on in Manchester city centre, injuring four people. Emergency services were called to the crash at about 14:15 BST at Piccadilly Plaza, which left four people injured, North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) said.

A bus passenger had to be cut free after a double-decker was involved in a head-on collision with a tram. Emergency services rushed to the junction of Parker Street and Mosley Street in Manchester city centre after reports of the incident shortly before 2.15pm, on 18 October.
