In November, the city began a free two-hour parking program at select city decks in an effort to attract more people downtown.

The city is testing free, two-hour parking in five city-owned parking garages from mid-November through the end of February. On Tuesday, the Raleigh City Council could decide to extend the program or possibly make it permanent.
