Disney Cruise Line is generally considered to be more expensive than its main competitor Royal Caribbean. Although their styles and costs differ, both cruise lines design their ships with family vacations in mind and offer a variety of family-friendly amenities.

Royal Caribbean Group has signed an agreement with Chantiers de l'Atlantique to order a sixth Edge Series ship for delivery to Celebrity Cruises in 2028. Edge 6 or “Xcel 2” will be the sister-ship to Celebrity Xcel, which is preparing to take its inaugural sail later this year.

The basics: To earn an instant certificate on Royal Caribbean cruises, you accrue points as you gamble. If you are playing slot machines, you earn one point for every $5 of bets you make. So, if you play $5 per spin and hit the button 500 times, you’ll earn 500 points. (How much you win or lose does not matter.)

The cost of cruises certainly isn’t getting any lower. The exact increase depends on the time period you’re looking at and who is doing the research, but cruises have become far more expensive over the past five years or so.
