Before Monday's National Championship Game, Joel Klatt argued that the big game should have happened weeks ago. Ohio State will play Notre Dame to conclude the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff.

Klatt released his top 10 rankings, with Penn State as his No. 1 team ahead of the 2025 season. Even with Drew Allar, Nicholas Singleton, and Kaytron Allen returning, Penn State is losing some defensive players, including Abdul Carter, to the NFL, and the wide receiver room is still a question mark.

At No. 1, he named the Penn State Nittany Lions, who recently fell to Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff semifinals and finished the season 13-3. "Penn State is gonna be m
