Fort Lauderdale’s War Memorial Auditorium, a 1950s-era building, underwent a multi-million dollar renovation. While the Art Deco-style exterior was maintained, the inside is entirely updated.

The money has been there to re-do the auditorium since Katrina hit. The city is saying it'll be used for roof repairs, exterior repairs, mold remediation, and the removal of existing machinery.
