The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced the schedule of the 2025 edition of the Women's Premier League which will see defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru square off against Gujarat Giants in opener on February 14.

Both Baroda and Lucknow are hosting the league for the first time, while Mumbai made a return to the host stadium's list.

Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara will witness the first six games of the WPL 2025 while the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will host the next eight matches. Lucknow has been given the duty to host the four group-stage games while Mumbai has been given two league-stage matches and two knockout games.

Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru will face Gujarat Giants in the opening game of the 2025 Women's Premier League. The tournament will begin on 14 February and is scheduled to run until 15 March.
