Three teens detained, charged in hospital riot
TEXARKANA, Ark. -- Three teenage patients have been arrested after police say a riot cornered staff and brought a large law enforcement response Sunday morning at Riverview Behavioral Health Hospital. The patients -- two age 15 and the other age 17 -- are charged with inciting a riot, Texarkana Arkansas Police Department said in a news release.
3 teens charged in Arkansas psychiatric hospital riot
During the incident, three males ages 15, 15 and 17 were taken into custody and charged with inciting a riot. Police said the remaining juveniles were remanded back into custody of the hospital. In total, 23 to 25 juveniles reportedly were involved in the incident, according to CBS affiliate KSLA.
