Cold weather shelters to expand access in Central Florida
The Homeless Services Network of Central Florida announced Thursday morning that it is expanding access to cold weather shelters in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.

Overnight, temperatures dropped into the 30s and 40s, setting us up for a chilly Monday morning. Freeze warnings were in effect for multiple counties as wind chills dropped as low as in the 20s. Those warnings expired at 10 a.m.

Two cold-weather shelters will open on Thursday and Friday evenings, providing refuge for people experiencing homelessness. Doors will open at 6 p.m. to offer overnight shelter Thursday and Friday.
