A Canadian man was arrested at Delhi airport after a routine security check revealed a baby crocodile skull in his luggage, believed to have been purchased in Thailand.

The Taliban's foreign office said they saw India as a "significant regional and economic partner" after meeting with its most senior foreign ministry official, the highest level talks with Delhi since their takeover of Afghanistan in 2021.

With its first high-level, bilateral engagement with the Taliban regime, New Delhi appears ready to increase ties with Kabul. This would mark a significant step in diplomatic engagement for the Islamist group.
