As the desperation meter gets turned up on the Miami Heat to resolve their situation with Jimmy Butler, one of his former teams could look to put

Butler was first suspended by the Heat on Jan. 3 for seven games “for multiple instances of conduct detrimental to the team over the course of the season and particularly the last several weeks. Through his actions and statements, he has shown he no longer wants to be part of this team.”

Butler, who has asked Miami for a trade, had missed 14 of Miami’s last 19 games entering Monday, including nine of the last 12 because of suspensions.
