Altice, Optimum's parent company, had removed all Nexstar programming in the New York area on Jan. 10 in a dispute over fees.

Nextstar and Optimum have reached a carriage deal that will restore programming to Altice customers in the United States, the companies announced Saturday. The deal comes days after NewsNation and network and local programming provided by 63 of Nexstar Media Group’s television stations in 42 markets went dark.

IRVING, Texas— Following failed negotiations for a new retransmission consent agreement, 63 local TV stations in 42 markets owned by Nexstar Media Group were blacked out on Altice USA’s Optimum-branded cable systems around the country.
