Many NHL fans believe the Canucks would've been better off trading Elias Pettersson as opposed to J.T. Miller given their recent performances.

Behind a two-point night from Miller and a strong showing from his line, the Rangers trounced the Predators, 4-0, Sunday night at Madison Square Garden to pull within two points of the second wild card as part of a three-way tie with the Bruins and Senators.

J.T. Miller and his wife, Natalie, moved into a new home after staying with the Trocheck family for 12 days. Natalie shared a farewell message for Vincent Trocheck and his wife, Hillary, thanking them for their hospitality. Since arriving in Vancouver, Miller had been an elite point producer with stretches of excellent two-way play. This season didn’t go as smoothly as his feud with Elias Pettersson boiled over. Miller was also clearly banged up starting from opening night and took a significant leave of absence.
