Austin police reported that a person had barricaded themselves just before 1:30 p.m. on Bartholdi Street, which is in a neighborhood near Dessau Road and East Parmer Lane. Details around the standoff are unknown at this time, but police are asking the public to avoid the area since roadways may be blocked off.

APD SWAT are responding to a barricaded subject in Northeast Austin, not far from two Pflugerville ISD schools.

APD posted on X at 1:21 p.m. that SWAT officers were on the scene of a "barricaded subject" in the 12800 block of Bartholdi Street.
