One man admitted to purchasing human remains from a former Cumberland County resident, and another man admitted to selling remains to a Lycoming County resident.
Two people were sentenced in federal court for transport of stolen human remains and body parts. Chief U.S. Middle District Judge Matthew W. Brann sentenced Angelo Pereyra, 39, of Wichita, Kansas, to 18 months in prison for interstate transport of stolen human remains and body parts.
