One man admitted to purchasing human remains from a former Cumberland County resident, and another man admitted to selling remains to a Lycoming County resident.

Two people were sentenced in federal court for transport of stolen human remains and body parts. Chief U.S. Middle District Judge Matthew W. Brann sentenced Angelo Pereyra, 39, of Wichita, Kansas, to 18 months in prison for interstate transport of stolen human remains and body parts.

Other children in the classroom were also subjected to physical and verbal abuse, the lawsuit said, and some had “noxious substances” sprayed into their mouths, all of which the 8-year-old boy was forced to witness, leading to him being diagnosed with trauma and stress disorder.
