CLEVELAND, Ohio — Guardians manager Stephen Vogt believes that All-Star left fielder Steven Kwan is poised to win an American League batting title in 2025. Vogt said if it had not been for two stints on the injured list last season, Kwan might already have won a batting crown, but the growth that he showed at the plate in 2024 is a good sign.
But Stephen Vogt has to write someone's name into second base on March 27, and Terry Pluto of Cleveland.com believes, as of right now, that'll be Gabriel Arias. "Second base will probably got to ... Gabriel Arias," wrote Pluto.
Very few analysts, and maybe even fans of the Cleveland Guardians, thought that they'd be playing in the ALCS at the beginning of 2024. However, the team overachieved and was one of the best teams in MLB throughout the entire season.
The Cleveland Guardians just keep winning first appeared on Elite Sports NY, the Voice, the Pulse of New York City sports.
