Richard Childress Racing announced Friday that Kasey Kahne will drive for the team in the Xfinity Series' return to Rockingham on April 19.

Kahne will drive Richard Childress Racing’s No. 33 Chevrolet on April 19, when he will make his first NASCAR series start since Sept. 2018.

After retiring from the NASCAR Cup Series in 2018, one of the more popular wheelmen in recent memory is returning to the circuit, as Kasey Kahne is back. The wheelman will pilot the No. 33 for Richard Childress Racing when the Xfinity Series heads to Rockingham Speedway in 2025,

Kasey Kahne, a long-time NASCAR Cup Series driver, will pilot a third NASCAR Xfinity Series entry for Richard Childress Racing, the No. 33 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet.

Kasey Kahne will return to NASCAR in a third Richard Childress Racing NASCAR Xfinity Series car at Rockingham Speedway, RCR announced Jan. 24.

Kasey Kahne, who last raced in NASCAR in 2018, will return to compete for Richard Childress Racing in the Xfinity Series race April 19 at Rockingham Speedway, the team announced Friday. The 44-year-old Kahne will drive a third entry for RCR.
