New Year's Eve revelers were drenched by rain and thunderstorms as they awaited the ball drop at Times Square in New York City on Dec. 31, 2024.

Although rain is forecast tonight for Times Square, where NYC's New Year’s Eve ball drop annually takes place, the program should be terrific and history will be made.
