A heartless California serial killer eerily sang road tunes in court while his victims’ families gave impact statements during his sentencing.

A man convicted of killing two women in 1986 began to sing as statements from their families were read in court at a sentencing hearing, California officials reported. David Misch, 63, was removed from court for creating a disturbance during the hearing Tuesday, Jan. 21, KPIX reported.

After being removed from court to a holding cell on the side, David Misch continued to whistle loudly as his victims’ family members spoke.
