Paul McCartney, the former Beatle, attended Yom Kippur services on Saturday with his Jewish wife in Santiago, Chile. He had performed a solo concert there on Friday night, the beginning of the Jewish holiday of atonement.

Beatles legend Paul McCartney is being called a mensch after he was spotted celebrating Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, at a synagogue in Santiago, Chile Saturday.

While McCartney himself is not Jewish, the former Beatles star in the photo could be seen donning a kippa and standing next to his Jewish wife, Nancy Shevell, at the service.
