Another First Alert Weather Day is set in motion this morning. Yesterday’s valley snowfall has led to heavy snow accumulations in the high country. I-70 travel is extremely difficult this morning as many passes are covered in snow.

Even warmer air is likely next week with most of the snow melting away pretty quickly. Watch for fog potential each morning though as we add more moisture to the air through the melting.

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Albeit chilly, we had plenty of sunshine for the day on Friday. Highs today hovered around in the upper 20s and low 30s. As we head into the evening hours, we will see overnight lows drop again with overnight lows in the mid teens. Feels like temperatures will be in the single digits.
