Several acne products containing benzene have been recalled due to possible benzene contamination, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said this week.

The Food and Drug Administration said several lots of six products containing benzoyl peroxide are being recalled.

The FDA announced the recall of more acne products due to contamination of benzene, a cancer-causing chemical.While the recalled products contained elevated levels of benzene, the FDA said the risk of developing cancer from using these products is very low.
