A roll-over crash with reported entrapment closed a section of northbound lanes on Interstate 83 north in Dauphin County Friday evening, according to county 911 dispatchers and PennDOT. The crash occurred just before 7:15 p.m. between exit 40A for Limekiln Road and exit 40B for New Cumberland, PennDOT said.

A PennDOT spokesperson said Route 283 West between the Toll House Road and Middletown Exits is expected to be closed for several hours.

Virginia State Police are investigating a serious two-vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 95 in Spotsylvania County involving a tractor-trailer.

County 911 dispatchers said the tractor-trailer ended up in a wooded area near the highway, spilling dozens of gallons of fuel.

Interstate 84 westbound is closed in Waterbury because of a crash that involved a tractor trailer. The state Department of Transportation said the closure was between exits 18 and 17 on Friday morning.
