India, Brazil, Japan, New Zealand and the Netherlands will see advertising added to Prime Video in 2025, joining the U.S., Canada, France, U.K. and Mexico.

Amazon Prime Video will start showing advertising in five new markets starting in 2025. Ads will begin playing for users in India, Japan, Brazil, the Netherlands and New Zealand. The news of the launch in new areas was announced at the Amazon UnBoxed conference.

This may come as a surprise, but one of the top films of summer 2024 has come to Amazon Prime Video this week. IF didn’t get a lot of press compared to the other movies last summer, but it legged out $111 million domestically in the most competitive cinema landscape of the year.

From there, all you have to do is head over to the Apple TV+ subscription page and start your free trial. After one week free, you’ll pay an additional $9.99/month for the ad-free subscription to Apple TV+. You’ll then be able to watch all of Apple TV+’s original series and films right inside of the Prime Video app.
