Wyoming – which conjures up images of cowboys riding across arid plains – might seem like a comical name for the small Rhode Island village that's perhaps best known as a stop on Interstate 95.

PERRY, N.Y. — Tragedy struck Friday morning in the Village of Perry where a devastating house fire took the life of one person and sent three others to the hospital with serious injuries.

A Le Roy man is facing several felony assault charges after a Jan. 31 incident at Wyoming County Community Hospital, village police said.
