Then, select Options to open the PowerPoint Options panel. Tick this checkbox to show the vertical ruler and remove the tick from the corresponding checkbox to hide the vertical ruler.
While the ruler will not appear along the vertical margin of your document in the Draft layout, it will display along the top. It works much the same way as it does in the Print layout.
