The Green Bay Packers disclosed on Monday that their official online store was breached and customer information stolen

We now know how many customers were affected by the data breach on the Packers Pro Shop website. The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection says around 8,500 people are impacted.

The Green Bay Packers Pro Shop website was hit by hackers recently, the team confirmed in a statement sent to NBC 26 on Tuesday.

Some customers who used a debit or credit card on the pro shop website from late September through most of October could be impacted. The Packers say they've sent a notification letter to everyone who may have been affected and those customers have been given the option of three years of complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection.
