Ice skating is a classic winter activity, and Budapest is taking it up a notch with scenic spots and exciting features.

BUDAPEST (JTA) — The outdoor ice skating rink — the largest in Central Europe — in Budapest’s city center has been part and parcel of Hungary’s Christmas tradition for nearly 150 years.

It's almost time to lace up those skates, as Budapest's most picturesque ice rink is about to open for the 2024 season. And a lap or two here is a must-do when you're spending the winter in the city.
