Bruins coach Joe Sacco provided a new update on this defenseman. Boston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm has not played since the club's Nov. 12 contest against the St. Louis Blues. He suffered a lower-body injury after blocking a shot from Blues defenseman Justin Faulk, which has kept him sidelined since.

Hampus Lindholm practiced alone on the ice at Warrior Ice Arena Wednesday morning, still building his way back from his November leg injury. It appears now, 100 days since his injury, the smooth veteran blueliner won’t be back in the Bruins lineup anytime soon.

Sacco said the Bruins will have a meeting with their medical staff over the next day or two and find out where he is in his recovery. Lindholm did not suffer a setback in his recovery. He skated on his own after practice.

The Boston Bruins returned to practice on Feb. 21, with the 4 Nations Face-Off over. However, Bruins star Charlie McAvoy was absent from practice due to his shoulder injury and infection, which he suffered during the tournament.
