San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama lived up to the hype in his rookie season in the NBA. He ran away with the Rookie of the Year plum after putting up 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds and a league-best 3.6 blocks per game. He finished second to compatriot Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves for the Defensive Player of the Year award.

But Wembanyama isn't just coming for individual stardom, or his first career playoff appearance. He's apparently coming for the necks of modern NBA stars whose work ethic he doesn't approve of. Recently,
