Recently, at Tesla's big Cybercab Robotaxi presentation, the multi-billionaire revealed his new autonomous Tesla Cybercab, which features two wing doors with no steering wheel or pedals. He also showcased several humanoid Optimus robots, which he said would one day be able to do menial tasks, as well as offer friendship.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk says his company’s robotaxi will “probably” be in production before 2027 — and predicts it will cost less than $30,000.

Alex Proyas suggested that some product designs from Tesla, a company led by Musk, bore similarities to the futuristic technology seen in his 2004 film.
