Ring Camera Catches Startling Crash Of A Meteorite Hitting A Homeowner's Porch
A couple in Marshfield on Price Edward Island, Canada got a nice surprise on their Ring doorbell camera feed last year. While While the owners were out on a walk, their camera recorded the once-in-a-lifetime sound of a meteor hitting the ground.
This is the first time the sound of a meteorite hitting Earth has been recorded, the University of Alberta said.
Sound and video of a meteorite was caught by a Ring doorbell camera in the Atlantic Canada province of P.E.I. last July.
Six months ago, a meteorite crashed into the entrance area of a house in Canada. This was recorded by a surveillance camera.
