Tijjani Reijnders scored twice to help AC Milan earn a 3-1 home win over Belgian champions Club Brugge in the Champions League on Tuesday as the Italians secured their first points in the competition this season.

Tijjani Reijnders made sure AC Milan got their Champions League campaign up and running with a decisive brace in Tuesday’s 3-1 win over 10-man Club Brugge at the San Siro. Netherlands midfielder Reijnders stroked home two fine finishes in the 61st and 71st minutes to give Milan their first points in this year’s revamped competition.

The seven-time European champion had been one of eight sides winless after two games, having lost 1-0 at Bayer Leverkusen earlier this month and 3-1 at home to Liverpool in the competition opener.
