The company's revenue from operations rose 10.52 per cent to Rs 1,659.5 crore, sequentially. But, it slipped by 34.11 per cent on a year-on-year (YoY) basis.

Paytm 's parent company One 97 Communications Ltd has posted a whopping profit of ₹930 crore for the second quarter ending September 2024. This is a major turnaround from the ₹290 crore loss posted during the same period last year. The profit jump is largely due to the sale of its ticketing business to Zomato.

One 97 Communications, the parent company of Paytm, saw its revenue from operations rise 10.51% in Q2 FY24 to Rs 1,659.5 crore from Rs 1,501.6 crore in Q1 FY24.

One97 Communications, which operates fintech firm Paytm, on Tuesday announced a consolidated profit of Rs 928.3 crore in the second quarter of Financial Year 2024-25 (Q2 FY25) compared to a loss of Rs 290.5 crore a year ago on the back of selling its movie ticketing and events business.

India's Paytm reported its first-ever quarterly profit since listing, helped by a one-time gain from the sale of its entertainment ticketing business to Zomato. The company posted a consolidated net profit of 9.
