Traders exited Nasdaq-100 futures at the fastest pace this year on Tuesday as shares of chip makers slid following ASML Holding NV’s surprise announcement lowering its 2025 guidance.

Stock index futures traded cautiously, as traders assessed ASML's weak net sales guidance for 2025, which also pulled down chip stocks. S&P 500 futures (SPX) +0.1%, Nasdaq 100 futures (US100:IND) +0.2% and Dow futures (INDU) -0.

The Dow and other major indexes experienced losses Tuesday afternoon as chipmakers struggled amid news of potential export caps.
